A well merchandised and superbly curated collection of books spanning every genre. Jake, the owner, is personable and helpful. We look forward to attending some of his community events. Will definitely be back for more!

So glad I finally made it in! I really enjoyed chatting with Jake and learning all about him, his travels and his store. I purchased 3 new to me books and saw many more I'll be back for! Next on the list is to stop by during one of his special events (details on the website).Support local!

I’m in front of this cute little bookstore and it’s 4:30. Someone is inside but there’s the “closed” sign on the front door, so I didn’t go in. Online says that they’re open until six.

Each visit to this wonderful, cozy oasis nestled in downtown Longmont is an absolute delight. The owner, Jake, is incredibly helpful, and his passion for books is evident. An enchanting addition to the selection of shops on Main St and would recommend everyone to stop in.

Longmont books are an excellent addition to the downtown atmosphere. The store has a cozy vibe and a welcoming personality. I enjoy every one of my visits to the shop and encourage you to check it out for yourself. Jake is a one-of-a-kind personality and effortlessly makes everyone feel like an old friend.

Longmont Books is the curated book store we have always looked for. It feels like the owner knows me and my taste and has hand picked the books for me. I always feel comfortable and not pressured at all to buy. but, I always do! The feeling/vibe is immaculate and Jake (the owner) is always there to show you around and make suggestions. He's constantly looking for talent and events to host on the weekends for book nerds like us, and you can find those on his website. If you read the story in the Longmont Leader about Jake and his vision for the store you will know exactly what he is trying to do. Jake traveled and taught English overseas for 10 years. His travels inform his taste and his decorations. You can see India, Korea, Vietnam, China and all other influences from his travels. Make sure to ask him about his book that he wrote about his travels. Hilarious and heartfelt stories. All this to say, do not miss Longmont Books--NOT just a Book Store. It's a destination for readers and the community center that Longmont needs.
